#aags30daychallenge Days 9 and 10.
I saw this done on a Youtube video and I was impressed so I thought I would try it. Sadly I didn't bookmark the vid so I can't go back to see what happens next. It is a 2 part technique so I did it over two days.
I put a heap of heavy duty acrylic onto my canvas in two colours and white and the got my fingers into it. The idea is to develop lots of texture and then I left it to dry. Below is Day 9 development.
Day 10 and I had to rotate my canvas and do it again. Makes for very interesting fingers and anything else I touch. Then with a plastic card scrape all over to make lines. Fun and messy. What next? No idea.
Close up look at the texture created.

#aags30daychallenge Day 8
I am certainly not as consistent as some of my friends who are doing this challenge. No matter here is my latest effort.
After scaring myself silly with all that white I decided I needed to have some colour. The paints I used here are sample pots we got at Bunnings when Louise and i did my lovely Elinor. Small i is to signify the small amount I did in our 'collaboration'.
I bought a nice sponge at the reject shop and here is the result. Certainly prefer it now and I see lots peeping through.

#aags30daychallenge Day 7
Oh my gosh!! What have I done? When I say that I don't know what I am doing I am sure nobody really believes me.
Today I decided to cover my canvas with white paint. I spread it with a girt card and then to get really excited I blotted it off with paper towels to add some texture. Well that's what happened and now what??
Enjoying watching other players especially Roz and Colleen, but I think they are more in control of what they are doing than I am. We will see what the next chapter brings.
Here is a closer shot to share the texture.

#aasg30daychallenge Day 6
I'm not being very regular with this challenge. I think I lost my way because I just seemed to be going over the same places and not getting anywhere. So today I did a background in a little journal a friend made for me...AND...I had left over paint!! So what's a girl to do? Use it up!!
So here we have my latest and brightest. These are Delusions paints. I did the yellow with the tube from paper towel and the green is MY FINGERS!!!!
And just for fun my little journal background:
This 30 day challenge may keep me busy till Christmas the am I am going.

#aasg30daychallenge #3 & #4
Day 3 Decided to have another try at getting drips. They worked but I am not so impressed with the outcome.
Day 4. I was doing some gelli printing and the light bulb flashed. What would happen if I cleaned my brayer on the canvas?? Let's find out. And this is what happened. Just some surface scrapes of pink and yellow. Cool!!
Here is a close up view of part of my canvas with the brayer work. Interesting I do believe.
